The product technical file is one of the main requirements of the new Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC. Are you sure you are doing the right thing? Are you including the correct documentation? Are you going into enough details?

At this year London Toy Fair, we are giving you the opportunity to book a free face-to-face 20-minute surgery with one of our toy technical consultants, to go through your product technical file: simply book a slot by completing our registration form and bring one toy and its technical file to receive independent guidance and information.

Our Toy Technical Consultant

Malcolm Horner has a wealth of experience of over 30 years in the toy testing business. Malcolm sits on the BSI Toy Safety Committee and is also a member of the CEN Toy Safety Committee. He is currently the chairman of the UK Toy Notified Bodies Group.

Claire Franco has over 18 years experience in the Toy industry. Having worked in laboratory, supply chain and retail environments in the UK and Hong Kong, Claire has a practical understanding of product development processes from concept through to distribution.
